Our AGM took place on Friday 10th March at Hemsley House in Salford. All had a great evening and some big changes took place. Firstly, Bro. Paul Mansell stepped down as Chairman of the club after two successful years at the helm. The club has seen a huge development in the two years Paul has been Chairman and we wish him all the best on the rest of his Masonic journey! A well-known member to us all, Bro. Hiten Patel was appointed as the new Chairman for the ensuing year.
It was an evening to look back at the many things the club had achieved over the last 12 months but also an opportunity to look forward. Bro. Hiten Patel wasted no time in making some changes to the leadership team of the club.
During our new Chairman’s first address, it was made clear as to what the focus of the club is going to be over the next 12 months. The plans are already in place for how we’ll continue to grow and be the figurehead representing all Light Blues throughout the different areas. There were some great discussions being had around the table and we feel very positive as to the next phase of the Manchester Level Club. It was particularly encouraging to see two new initiates less than a week into their Masonic journey at the meeting!
The evening was rounded off with a very relaxed social board and drinks at the bar. Some then went on into the early hours we hear!
Always a great evening in fine company!
Special thanks to Hemsley House for hosting us and all those in attendance and wishing the new team all the best over the next 12 months!
